Chloë Cheese, illustrator, artist and printmaker was born in London and grew up in Great Bardfield, Essex. Her parents Sheila Robinson and Bernard Cheese were both artists and lived in the village with fellow artists Edward Bawden, Michael Rothenstein and others. Chloë studied art at Cambridge Art School (1969-1972) and then at the Royal College of Art (1972-1976). Her work has been show in many exhibitions, both solo shows and with other artists, in the UK and abroad. Chloë is patron of the Association of illustrators and has illustrated several books. She is also a trustee of the Curwen Print Study Centre near Cambridge. Her work is held in many public collections such as the V&A and the Arts Council of Great Britain.
