Isabel Rawsthorne Still Life with Roses, c. 1957/8, oil on canvas
The Fry has been fortunate to have received a number of works by Isabel Rawsthorne from the estate of Warwick Llewellyn Nicholas, who was brother to Isabel. 10 of them have been restored by Radoslaw Chocha Paintings Conservation thanks to a generous grant from the Association of Independent Museums and the Pilgrim Trust. These works will form the backbone of the upcoming exhibition, The Many Sides of Isabel Rawsthorne, which opens at The Fry in early May 2022.
