Stunningly produced companion volumes to Ravilious at War (published by The Fleece Press in 2002), illustrating all Ravilious’s murals and known pictures produced up to 1939 plus many associated images.  Includes correspondence from his early days at the Royal College of Art in the early 1920s, through friendships (intimate or otherwise) with fellow artists such as Helen Binyon, Edward Bawden, John and Christine Nash and many others during the 1930s up to the outbreak of the Second World War.
