Guided Tours: Eric and Tirzah in Essex
To complement 'Mr and Mrs Ravilious', The Fry Gallery's major exhibition of 2019, we have organised six guided tours from Saffron Walden which will include Great Bardfield, Wethersfield, Castle Hedingham and Copford. The visits will take place from 10am to 4:30pm on both the Saturday and Sunday 15/16 June, 13/14 July and 7/8th September. As well as the exteriors of Brick House and Bank House, we shall also explore the locations of Eric's most iconic images in Essex and the tours will end at the uniquely decorated St. Michael and All Angels, Copford, outside which Tirzah's gravestone also commemorates Eric's death in a wartime mission off Iceland.
